Smart PDF Scanner ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to
protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information and
documents are handled when you use our mobile application.
1. 100% Local & Offline Processing
- No cloud uploads: All document scanning, Optical Character
Recognition (OCR), PDF creation, PDF-to-Word conversion, merging, splitting,
and compression are performed entirely on your device.
- Your files stay on your device: We do not operate any
servers for user documents. Your documents, extracted text, and images never
leave your device.
2. No Accounts, No Registration
- You are never required to create an account, log in, or provide personal
information (name, email, phone number) to use any feature of this app.
- The app is free with no subscriptions and no payment processing.
3. Device Permissions
- Camera: used only for document scanning and QR/barcode scanning.
- Storage / Photos: used only to read images you select and
to save exported documents on your device.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app is monetized solely through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect limited
device information (such as the advertising identifier and IP address) to serve
ads and prevent fraud, as described in the
Google Privacy Policy.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings
(Settings → Google → Ads).
5. Children's Privacy
This app is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children
under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on
this page with an updated date.
